The figurants represent the most important institutions of old Montalcino, as stated in the reformed town charter dated 1415. At the same time, the \u201cgarzoni\u201d and \u201cdonzelle\u201d of the Trescone, dressed in the traditional attire of the 19<span class=\"s1\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span>-century Tuscan countryside, perform dances and songs to the sound of accordions, involving everyone to join in the festivities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ce3830b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ce3830b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">The fanfare of the clarion trumpets, the roll of the drums and the deep sound of the horns accompany the traditional honouring of the Lady of the Podest\u00e0, who, with her handmaidens and the Ladies of the villas, awaits the return of knights, pages and archers under the loggia of the Town Hall. the Fortress is filled with unique aromas and flavours during the Sagra del Tordo, thanks to the food stalls organised by the four Districts, recognisable by their traditional colours: red and white for Borghetto, blue and white for Pianello, blue and yellow for Ruga, and red and yellow for Travaglio.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">The stalls are not simply refreshment points, but real open-air kitchens, where the inhabitants of the Districts set to work to offer traditional Montalcino dishes (e.g. pappardelle with hare ragout, pinci with sauce, mushroom soup, gnocchi and barbecued meats) accompanied by the area&#8217;s renowned wines.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7b224ff elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\"
