The Ruga District wins the tournament at the 67th Sagra del tordo
With a score of 96, the Ruga district, represented by archers Massimiliano Casali and Giuseppe Montalto, won the Silver Arrow and the painting by Irene Raspollini, bringing its total number of victories to 42.
The yellow/blue district, having won the trophy of the 67th edition of the Sagra del Tordo with archers Massimiliano Casali and Giuseppe Montalto, now stands at 42 victories in the hall of fame.
Next came the Travaglio district with 92 points earned by archers Niccolò Losappio and Marion James Batazzi, followed closely by the Pianello district with 90 points and archers Lorenzo Pierangioli and Christian Bovini. Rounding out the standings was the Borghetto district, which had won Saturday’s preliminary round, with 73 points and archers Cesare Montalto and Filippo Piazza.
PROVACCIA DELLA 67^ SAGRA DEL TORDO
The Borghetto District wins the Provaccia at the 67th Blackbird Festival Tournament. Bad weather and rain affected the Provaccia on Saturday, October 25, but did not deter the archers or disrupt the smooth running of the competition, which concluded with a victory for the Borghetto District, which scored 89 points with the duo Cesare Montalto and Filippo Piazza.
The Ruga District took second place with 88 points, thanks to archers Massimiliano Casali and Giuseppe Montalto. Next came the Pianello District, third with 86 points, earned by Lorenzo Pierangioli and Christian Bovini, while bringing up the rear was the Travaglio District, represented by Niccolò Losappio and Marion James Batazzi, who scored 85 points.
With its victory in the Provaccia, the Borghetto District will have the privilege, in the official competition of the 67th edition of the Sagra del Tordo, of choosing the shooting lane and the final distance from which to shoot.

In Montalcino’s Piazza del Popolo, the archers representing the four districts—Borghetto, Pianello, Ruga, and Travaglio—were selected to compete in the Provaccia on Saturday, October 25, and the Gara on Sunday, October 26, 2025, as part of the 67th edition of the Sagra del Torno.
